Once upon a time on Sainte-Croix

Nestled at an average altitude of 1,000 meters in the Jura-Nord Vaudois, the Sainte-Croix region has witnessed the passage and activity of mankind for thousands of years. From the first Homo Sapiens who crossed the Jura to the hikers of the 21st century, via the many craftsmen and companies who have made its name shine, the town of Sainte-Croix has become a guarantor of the preservation of know-how that is unique in the world.

This permanent exhibition takes you back in time. Its unique scenography – the vast majority of the collections are on display in the form of a visitable repository – opens up windows of time that plunge you into the great historical milestones that have shaped Sainte-Croix.
